PetPrep

Our mascot

Meet Curio.

Curio is the curious little cube from the PetPrep logo, brought to life. It stars in our short videos as the pet that waits by the door for someone to keep a promise. It is our mascot — not the pet you care for in the app.

Curio, the PetPrep mascot: a soft graphite cube with big white eyes, a small raspberry nose and a mint collar, waving.

Who is Curio?

Curio started as the mark in our logo: a rounded graphite square with two big eyes looking up and to the right, and a small raspberry nose. In Slovenian we call it Radovednež — “the curious one”. In October 2026 it got short arms, stubby legs and a mint collar with a round tag, and became a character.

Curio has no mouth. Everything it feels shows in its eyes: wide open when someone whispers “walk?”, two sleepy lines when nobody has come home yet, happy arcs when the bowl is full.

Curio is an “it” — not a boy or a girl, not a dog or a cat. It stands for every pet that waits, every day, for someone to keep a promise.

Job

Reminding families, with a wink, that a pet needs care every single day.

Curio is not the pet in the app

In our videos Curio plays a pet that needs care, because every pet does. In PetPrep, children — and adults testing a breed — care for something much closer to the real thing.

Curio — our mascot

A cartoon character for our videos, stickers and this page. It shows what PetPrep is about. You can't adopt it.

Using Curio

  • Use Curio in posts, articles and videos about PetPrep. For ads, products or merchandise, ask us first.
  • Show Curio as it is: graphite cube, white eyes, raspberry nose, mint collar. Don't add a mouth, ears, fur or eyebrows, and don't change its colours or stretch it.
  • Curio is the PetPrep mascot. Don't present it as the pet in the app or as a real dog or cat.
  • Don't use Curio in a way that suggests PetPrep endorses another product, cause or person.

Questions about Curio

Is Curio a dog or a cat?

Neither. Curio is a little cube from our logo. It plays a pet in our videos, but it is not any species.

Can my child look after Curio in the app?

No. In the app your family cares for a lifelike pet of a real breed, with the same daily needs as the real animal. Curio only appears in our videos and on the website.

Why doesn't Curio have a mouth?

Because our logo doesn't. Curio says everything with its eyes — and it never begs for treats out loud.

Where can I see new Curio videos?

On TikTok and Instagram, @petprep.si.
